FAQ

Where do the locations come from?
Locations are curated from loaded datasets included in the app bundle. Each entry includes canonical name, alternate names, coordinates, and confidence notes.
What does “confidence” mean?
“High” indicates a widely accepted location; “Medium” is a general area; “Low” reflects debate or uncertainty. Notes provide extra context.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Data ships with the app, so you can explore even without a connection (map loading may require connection).
How do I get driving directions to a location?
From any location detail, tap the directions option and choose Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze. Biblocate will hand off the coordinates and open your chosen app with turn-by-turn directions.
Can I save favorite locations?
Yes. Tap the favorite icon on any location or verse to add it to your favorites list. You can quickly return to your saved places from the favorites view.
How often are locations and notes updated?
We continually review locations, notes, and confidence levels as new scholarship and feedback come in. Updates are bundled into future app releases so your data stays current.
If I buy the app once, do I get future updates?
Yes. When you purchase Biblocate, you get all future app and dataset updates included — there is no subscription required for ongoing updates.
How can I report an error or suggest a change?
Use the built-in “Report an issue” action in the app to email a correction with helpful context. Screenshots and notes are especially useful.
